Mae sgriw pêl cyfres GLM wedi'i gwneud o sgriw a chnau pêl m-edafedd. Ei swyddogaeth yw troi'r cynnig cylchdro yn fudiant llinol sy'n estyniad yn y dyfodol ac yn datblygu sgriw pêl. Arwyddocâd y datblygiad yw symud i ddwyn rholio o weithredu llithro. Heb fawr o ffrithiant, defnyddir sgriw pêl yn helaeth mewn offer diwydiannol amrywiol ac offerynnau manwl gywirdeb.

Y math silindrog gyda m-edwddi ar y pen cnau. Dylai'r cneuen gael ei osod gan ddefnyddio M-ederad. Mae'n addas ar gyfer mowntio gyda silindr.

Mae gradd cywirdeb cyfresi GLM yn seiliedig ar C3 a C5 (JIS B 1192-3). Yn ôl gradd cywirdeb, mae chwarae echelinol 0 (preload: C3) a 0.005mm neu lai (C5) ar gael.
